How to create a Telegram channel? Step-by-Step Guide!
There can be different reasons why you might need to create a Telegram channel. Channels are a great way to broadcast public messages to large audiences and notify subscribers directly on their phones.
You can also embed a Telegram channel on your website using a Telegram Channel widget, which can be useful for both web and mobile apps. This blog will guide you step-by-step on how to create a Telegram channel!
Step-by-step guide
1. Open your Telegram app.
2. Tap the pencil icon, as shown in the screenshot below.
3. Select New Channel, as shown in the screenshot.
4. Enter the name and description of your Telegram channel, then tap the checkmark button as shown in the screenshot.
5. Under Channel Type, make sure Public Channel is selected. Then, set your desired public link for the channel.
6. You can now add people to your channel (optional). After that, tap the right arrow button, as shown below.
7. Done! You’ve successfully created a public Telegram channel.
8. You can check the public link from your created Telegram channel by clicking the“Preview channel text link.
9. If the Telegram channel is viewable, that means it is set to Public.
You can now copy the link as shown in the screenshot below and use it as your Telegram Channel ID for the Telegram Channel widget.
