Where to get your API key

Settings › API Key

ChatGPT cannot send a custom header, so your key goes in the link. Add it as a plugin with authentication set to No Auth:

In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings › Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
Open Plugins, click +, name it SociableKIT, and paste the link above as the Server URL.
Leave Authentication on No Auth, confirm, then click Create.

Write the | in your key as %7C — the ready-made link on your API Key page already does this. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan, and the key sits in the link, so keep it private.
