Where do I find my JSON data feed URL?
Create a widget, open its Customize page, then click Embed on Website in the top right and choose JSON Data. Your feed URL looks like https://data.accentapi.com/feed/YOUR_EMBED_ID.json, where the number is your widget’s embed ID.
Do I need an API key or access token to fetch the feed with JavaScript?
No. The data feed is a plain GET request that returns JSON. There are no API keys, no OAuth flows, no app review and no tokens to refresh — SociableKIT handles the platform authentication for you.
Are there rate limits on the JSON data feed?
The feed is served as a static JSON file from our CDN, so your JavaScript code is not throttled by platform API quotas. Paid plans include unlimited views; the free plan includes 2,000 views per month.
How often does the data refresh?
Paid plans sync automatically in the background, so the same URL always returns current data. On the free plan you refresh it with a manual sync request. Check last_sync_info in the response to see how fresh the data is.
Can I call the feed straight from the browser?
Yes — the feed is CORS-enabled, so client-side JavaScript can request it directly. For production we still recommend fetching and caching it server-side so your pages never wait on a network call.
