Why social feeds work
Your social posts are where your brand feels most alive. Bringing them onto your website extends that energy to every visitor who lands.
New posts appear automatically, so your site never looks abandoned between blog updates.
A live feed signals that your brand is engaged, current, and worth following.
Post once on social, see it everywhere — no double-posting to your website or blog.
Visitors who like what they see can follow you directly, turning website traffic into social engagement.
The Medium Blog pulls your latest posts onto your site automatically, with full control over how they look.
3 simple steps
Sign up free and create your Medium Blog widget in seconds.
Match your brand with colors, fonts, and layout. Preview live.
Copy one line of code. Paste on your site. Works on any builder.
AI & MCP
Connect SociableKIT to Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client once. After that, ask for a Medium Blog widget in plain English and your AI builds it in your account, adds it to your site, and hands back the embed code it used — without you opening a dashboard.
Add a Medium Blog widget to my website.
Your Medium Blog widget is live on your site — nothing left to paste.
Embed code used
<div class="sk-ww-medium-publication-feed" data-embed-id="12345"></div> <script src="https://widgets.sociablekit.com/medium-publication-feed/widget.js" defer></script>
JSON data feed — no key, for your own design
https://data.accentapi.com/feed/12345.json
Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex can edit your site, so they paste it in for you. In ChatGPT you get the snippet and the exact steps for your platform.
Open Settings › API Key in your SociableKIT account and click Generate. It is shown once, so copy it right away.
Point your AI client at https://mcp.sociablekit.com/mcp with
your key. Copy-paste setup for each client is below.
Your AI finds the Medium Blog type and asks for your page URL or username. Paste the profile or page link and your AI pulls the identifier out of it — no need to dig for an ID.
Clients that can edit your code — Cursor, Claude Code, Codex — drop the snippet in for you. Anywhere else you get the snippet plus exact paste steps for your platform, and a no-key JSON feed of the same items if you would rather design your own.
MCP endpoint
https://mcp.sociablekit.com/mcp
Where to get your API key
ChatGPT cannot send a custom header, so your key goes in the link. Add it as a plugin with authentication set to No Auth:
https://mcp.sociablekit.com/mcp/YOUR_SOCIABLEKIT_API_KEY
Write the | in your key as %7C — the
ready-made link on your API Key page already does this. Developer
mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan, and the key sits in the link, so keep it private.
Add SociableKIT as a custom MCP server in your mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"sociablekit": {
"url": "https://mcp.sociablekit.com/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_SOCIABLEKIT_API_KEY"
}
}
}
}
Replace YOUR_SOCIABLEKIT_API_KEY with the key from step 1,
then ask Cursor for your Medium Blog widget.
Run one command in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http sociablekit https://mcp.sociablekit.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_SOCIABLEKIT_API_KEY"
Replace YOUR_SOCIABLEKIT_API_KEY with the key from step 1.
Works with Codex, VS Code, Windsurf, and any other MCP client. Point it at
the URL below and send the Authorization header:
URL: https://mcp.sociablekit.com/mcp
Header: Authorization: Bearer YOUR_SOCIABLEKIT_API_KEY
No field for headers? Use
https://mcp.sociablekit.com/mcp/YOUR_SOCIABLEKIT_API_KEY instead. Browsing the
widget catalog works without a key — creating widgets needs one.
“Add a Medium Blog widget to my website”
Your AI picks the Medium Blog type, asks for your page URL or username, creates the widget and adds it to your page, then shows the embed code it used and the JSON feed behind it.
“How do I add my Medium Blog widget to WordPress?”
You get paste instructions for your exact platform — where the code block lives in the editor, not generic documentation.
“What Medium widgets does SociableKIT offer?”
A live catalog search across 100+ widget types. No API key or sign-in needed, so you can explore before committing.
Universal compatibility
One embed code. Any website builder. Just paste it wherever custom code is supported.

Common questions
Everything you need to know about the Medium Blog widget.
A Medium Blog widget displays your latest Medium stories in a polished feed on your website. It keeps your ideas visible where visitors already explore your brand, helping them discover more of your expertise without manually rebuilding a blog section.
Create the widget in SociableKIT, enter your Medium source, customize the design, and copy the generated embed code. Paste that code into an HTML, custom code, iframe, or embed block on your website.
You need the Medium ID or public feed source requested by the SociableKIT editor. Open the correct Medium page, copy its identifying name or address, and confirm the publication or profile before finishing the setup.
Medium provides public feeds for profiles and publications, and SociableKIT can work with the supported Medium source entered in the widget. Use a profile for one writer's personal brand or a publication when you want a shared content hub with stories from several writers.
The source must be publicly accessible for SociableKIT to retrieve its available stories. For a business website, use content you own or are authorized to feature so the feed stays accurate, relevant, and aligned with your brand.
Yes, paid SociableKIT plans include automatic syncing, so you can keep the same embed code as new eligible stories are published. The free plan lets you request a refresh when you want to update the feed.
The story must first be public and available through the connected Medium feed. It can then appear after the next SociableKIT sync, so the website update may not be instant.
The widget can present available details such as the story image, title, author, publication date, description or preview, and a link to continue reading. The exact fields depend on what Medium provides through the connected source and which SociableKIT settings are enabled.
The widget is designed mainly to showcase stories through attractive cards and previews, with readers continuing to the original Medium article when they want more. This keeps the feed easy to browse without copying an entire article into every page.
Paywalled stories can still be introduced through available titles, images, and previews, but Medium does not provide their full text through public RSS feeds. Readers may need a Medium membership or available reading access to continue past the paywall.
Yes, SociableKIT provides manual and automatic moderation options for supported feed setups. You can curate the display around relevant topics or keywords instead of showing every story connected to the source.
Medium supports feeds for tagged publication pages and topic pages, and supported source formats can be used to create a more focused feed. This is useful when your publication covers several subjects but a website page needs only one theme.
Yes, additional Medium profiles or publications can be added as separate sources. Choose a SociableKIT plan with enough sources for the writers, brands, or publications you want to feature.
Yes, paid SociableKIT plans include unlimited widgets, websites, and domains. You can reuse one Medium source in different designs for your homepage, resources page, author bio, portfolio, or campaign.
SociableKIT works with WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Weebly, Google Sites, SharePoint, and standard HTML websites. It also works with other platforms that accept an HTML, custom code, iframe, or embed element.
Yes, the widget adjusts to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens and can be styled with your colors, fonts, layout, spacing, and calls to action. SociableKIT also offers masonry, grid, carousel, and dark-mode templates, so the feed can feel native to your website.
Any external feed adds some page resources, but one SociableKIT widget is cleaner than embedding many stories separately. Lazy loading helps delay the feed until visitors reach its section, reducing the initial work required when the page opens.
The widget can keep a page active, improve content discovery, and encourage visitors to explore more, but it does not guarantee higher rankings. Search engines may not treat embedded previews like original page content, so add useful headings, summaries, and native copy around the feed.
The widget helps visitors discover each story and continue to its original Medium page. Medium controls claps, responses, following, bookmarks, and sharing, and some actions may require the visitor to sign in.
SociableKIT offers a free plan with one source, one widget, one domain, up to 2,000 monthly views, design customization, branding, and manual sync requests. Paid plans add automatic syncing, unlimited widgets and views, unlimited domains, and human chat and email support available 24/7.
