In the latest Facebook Meta update, access tokens now expire after just one hour of generation. This tutorial will guide you through the process of extending your page access token. Follow the steps provided below.
1. Go to this link paste your access token on the textbox field then click the Debug button.

2. It must show you information about your token. The Expires part shows you when your access token will expire. For the example below I just generated the token if your token is expired it must show an expired text instead.

3. Click the Extend Access Token button below.

4. Complete the login by adding your Facebook account password.

5. Copy the green text which is your access token and paste it on your SociableKIT widget. Done! It should add 2-3 more months before your token expires again.

- If you need a token for your Facebook page events widget, you can follow our tutorial here: https://www.sociablekit.com/how-to-get-a-facebook-page-access-token/
- If your Facebook page is a Business page: https://www.sociablekit.com/how-to-get-a-facebook-access-token-for-a-business-account/
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Facebook page access token expires automatically after you change your Facebook account password regardless of the access token expiration date. If somehow you have changed your password without knowing you will have to generate a new access token and then extend it.
Kindly understand that we do not have power over this as access tokens are still under Facebook Meta.
