Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about embedding Twitch feed on your Weebly website.

How long does it take to set up my Twitch feed on my website?

Your Twitch feed widget can be live in just a few minutes. After signing up, you choose your widget type, customize it to match your branding, and paste a single code snippet into your website. The process is designed for non‑technical users, so you spend more time streaming and less time configuring.

Do I need to know how to code or install a plugin to use this widget?

No coding skills or plugins are required. Simply create your widget, customize the design, and copy the embed code into any platform that supports custom HTML. It works seamlessly with popular builders like WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Weebly, Google Sites, SharePoint and traditional HTML sites.

Will my Twitch feed update automatically when I go live or upload new videos?

Yes. On paid plans the widget syncs automatically with your channel, so new streams and videos appear without any effort from you. On the free plan you can trigger manual updates to keep your content fresh.

What types of Twitch content can I display?

You can show your most recent broadcasts, clips and live streams directly on your site. The widget offers different feed types, so you can focus on channel videos or highlight your live stream to drive engagement and grow your audience.

Can I customise the look and feel of the Twitch widget?

Yes. You can control colours, fonts, layouts and call‑to‑action buttons to match your brand perfectly. Choose from several layouts such as Grid, Masonry or Carousel and preview your changes instantly.

Are there any limits on views, posts or channels?

Paid plans include unlimited widgets and unlimited views, so your content stays available no matter how many visitors you have. You pay for the number of sources you connect and can add more channels as your needs grow. The free plan includes one source, one widget and 2,000 monthly views, making it an easy way to get started.

Do I need to be a Twitch affiliate or have special permissions?

You don’t need to be a Twitch affiliate or partner to use the widget. You simply connect a public channel that you own or manage, and our system uses the official API to display your content securely.

Can I display multiple Twitch channels or playlists in one feed?

Yes. With a single SociableKIT account you can add multiple sources and combine them into one unified feed. Additional channels can be added for a small fee, giving you flexibility without multiple subscriptions.

Can I limit or filter which videos or streams appear?

You have full control over what appears in your feed. You can set limits on the number of videos displayed and filter out certain clips or broadcasts. Higher plans also include automatic moderation features to keep your feed professional.

Will embedding the Twitch widget slow down my website or hurt my SEO?

No. The widget loads asynchronously and is optimized for performance, ensuring it doesn’t block your site’s content or slow down page speed. As a result, your site remains search‑engine friendly while offering engaging video content.

Is the widget responsive and mobile‑friendly?

Yes. The widget automatically adjusts to fit desktops, tablets and smartphones. This guarantees a smooth viewing experience across all devices without any additional configuration.

Which website builders and platforms does the Twitch widget support?

The embed code works with virtually any website builder or CMS. It’s compatible with WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Weebly, Google Sites, SharePoint and custom HTML websites, so you can drop it into whatever platform you use.

Is there a free plan or trial available?

Yes. We offer a free forever plan that includes one data source, one widget, full design customization and 2,000 monthly views without requiring a credit card. You can also activate a seven‑day premium trial to experience the automatic syncing and unlimited views offered on our paid plans.

Do I need to handle the parent parameter or SSL to make the Twitch embed work?

No. Our embed code automatically includes the required settings, such as the parent domain, to comply with Twitch’s embed guidelines. We also require your site to be served over HTTPS for secure playback, but there’s no additional configuration needed on your end.

What happens when my channel is offline?

When you’re not live, the widget displays your most recent videos or clips, ensuring there’s always something for visitors to watch. This keeps your page active and encourages viewers to return for future streams.

Can I moderate or hide certain clips from my feed?

Yes. You can manually remove videos or clips from your feed, and on higher plans automatic moderation can filter out unwanted content. This allows you to keep your feed focused on your best work and maintain brand safety.

Is my data safe and private when I use SociableKIT?

We take security seriously. Our widgets use official APIs and secure authentication to access your content, and all payments are processed by trusted providers. You can also enable multi‑factor authentication by signing in with your Google account for an extra layer of protection.

Do you offer discounts for non‑profits or annual plans?

Yes. SociableKIT provides special pricing for qualified charitable organizations and discounts when you choose an annual subscription. Contact our support team to see if you qualify and we’ll help you get set up.

What kind of support does SociableKIT provide?

Our support is handled by real people who are available via chat and email. Paid plans include round‑the‑clock assistance, and our knowledge base and tutorials can guide you through setup and customization at any time.

Can visitors interact with my Twitch feed from the widget?

Yes. When a viewer clicks on a video or live stream, they’re taken to the corresponding page on Twitch where they can chat, follow or engage further. This helps grow your Twitch following while keeping your website dynamic and interactive.
